Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties Recognized for Tithe Donations ~

Our local affiliate ranked 20th in tithing for fiscal year 2009.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties is proud to participate in Habitat International’s tithe program. Through this program, 10% of all our affiliate’s undesignated funds are used to build homes with Habitat affiliates in countries around the world. Currently, tithe dollars from our affiliate are used to build homes in Ghana, West Africa and El Salvador. For fiscal year, 2009 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Stark and Carroll Counties was ranked 20th out of 230 large affiliates for the amount tithed. We are excited to be recognized once again as a leader among Habitat affiliates, and thankful that we can help further the mission of eliminating poverty housing around the globe.
