Around here, when anyone says “Thursday Crew,” they’re talking about a group of dedicated volunteers at the heart of our ministry, whether it’s Thursday, Tuesday, Monday or Saturday.
They started out working primarily on Thursdays to prepare the construction sites for Saturday work. However, now many members of the “Thursday Crew” also serve as crew and site leaders for our Saturday volunteer groups, as well as helping out on other days of the week when needed.
These faithful servants commit their time and talents to eliminating poverty housing and building new lives for God’s people. They truly make a difference!
There’s no pressure when you become part of the “Thursday Crew.” You decide how much time you want to give. Volunteers simply call or e-mail on Tuesday afternoon if they are available to work that week.
The day begins about 8 a.m., is filled with great fellowship, laughter and a chance to learn new skills, and ends about 3 p.m. We welcome all skill levels and would love to talk to you!
