Home Cleaning: When a Habitat home is completed, the families help clean the house to move-in condition. We are in need of volunteers who can help with the cleaning and supervise the process. Homes are cleaned in the spring and the fall during an approximately 4-6 week block of time. Your commitment can vary depending on your availability.
Education: The Family Support Zone is always looking to partner with members of the community who have skills to teach our families to be good homeowners. We currently offer classes on: homeowner insurance, predatory lending, wills, home decorating, being a good neighbor, home security, landscaping and car care. This commitment would be for one 2 hour class a few times per year.
To volunteer in any of the above family support areas, please contact Judith or Laura in the Family Support Zone by calling 330.493.6500 or by e-mailing Judith or Laura.
